COMPUTER USE POLICY for the Bilingual Service Centre

 

SUMMARY

The Bilingual Service Centre is pleased to offer you free use of these Internet stations, in order to facilitate your access to information and servicesIn return, we ask that you respect this policy by using terminals in an appropriate manner or YOU WILL BE DENIED ACCESS.

  • Computers are to be used to search the Internet and to work on text documents

  • Users shall not download software, games or e-mail attachments.  Text documents that have been created may only be saved to the A: drive on a diskette.  Please advise a staff member before using an outside diskette in any of the computers.

  • Information may be printed, within reasonable limits.

  • USERS SHALL NOT access, create or distribute images, sounds, messages or other material which incite hatred or whose main focus is pornography, nudity or sexual acts.

  • If others are waiting, please respect them and allow them access to the terminals.

 

REMEMBER IF THIS POLICY IS NOT RESPECTED, ACCESS TO THE COMPUTERS WILL BE DENIED!!!
