An Information Specialist works for these four departments and offers
a variety of front-line and referral services. Examples of these services

Navigator
The Navigator helps the Métis community access government programs
and services. The Navigator promotes healthy living and nutrition, recreational
programs, cultural programs and work in particular with Métis youth
and elders. The navigator ensures that the Métis people know how
to access programs and services from government and also helps government
deliver services to the Métis community in a culturally appropriate
manner.
