Employment Manitoba also offers wage susidies to assist in the cost of
on-the-job training for potential new employees. We must approve the wage
subsidy before the new employee is hired. Subsidy levels may vary.
New employees may be eligible if they are legally entitled to work in
Canada and fit into one of the following categories:
- unemployed (working less than an average 20 hours/week) and a current
or previous Employment Insurance recipient
- unemployed and receiving income assistance benefits
- low income individual or family

Canada-Manitoba
Business Service Centre
The Canada-Manitoba Business Service Centre was founded within the framework
of a partnership between the Government of Canada and the Government of
Manitoba. They deliver services in Manitoba on behalf of 38 federal government
departments and organizations, 13 provincial government departments and
five private sector partners, such as the Chamber of Commerce.
The regional offices of the Canada-Manitoba Business Service Centre located
within the Bilingual Service Centres offer a reference library, free publications,
a variety of forms and the services of a consultant by appointment.

Public Access Computers

Public access computers are provided by the Community Access Program for
